Classical V-Belt (Standard V-Belt, Ordinary V-Belt) is the most widely used trapezoidal cross-section power transmission belt, standardized under GB/T 11544-2012, GB/T 13575.1-2022 and ISO 4184. It features a 40° wedge angle and a height-to-width ratio of approximately 0.7. Constructed from high-quality rubber (neoprene/EPDM) with a high-strength tensile core (polyester/aramid cords) and fully wrapped in wear-resistant fabric, it is available in Y, Z, A, B, C, D, and E cross-section types. It is primarily designed for general industrial and automotive applications, ideal for medium to low power transmission, large center distances, and scenarios requiring shock absorption.

Maintenance Tips

l Replacement Cycle: Replace every 30,000-60,000 km (automotive) or 1500-2500 operating hours (industrial). Shorten by 30% in harsh conditions (oil, high temp, heavy load). Always replace all belts in a set simultaneously.

l Tension Standard: Initial tension: 18-25 N/mm of belt width. Deflection: 1.5%-2.0% of center distance (a) for mid-point load. Re-tension new belts after 24-48 hours of run-in.

l Environmental Protection: Working temperature: -30°C to +80°C. Avoid prolonged contact with oil, grease, and chemicals. Keep pulleys and belts clean and debris-free.

l Regular Inspection: Check every 500 hours. Replace if cracks, hardening, cord exposure, or >10% wear is found. Ensure pulley alignment (parallelism deviation ≤ 0.006a).

l Installation: Do not pry belts onto pulleys. Adjust center distance to reduce tension during installation. Ensure proper pulley groove matching.
